Nació el 12/04/1958, en Pompeya, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires. A los 2 años aproximadamente migró, por el trabajo de su padre en aeronáutica a Paraná, Santa Fe.
En 1978, a los 20 años, se trasladó a Rosario, Santa Fe, a la pensión “Real”, ubicada en la calle Tucumán 1294, donde vivió hasta 1986. Posteriormente volvió a Buenos Aires y vivió con Gina Vivanco en Florencio Varela. Carmen consideraba a Gina como una “hermana de la vida”
Formó el club de fans de Susana Gimenez en marzo de 1982 en Rosario.
Durante los años 1984 y 1986, durante 4 meses, trabajó en la Galería Alaska, de Río de Janeiro, Brasil, haciendo shows.
En 1986, viajó por Río Grande, Río Gallegos, Comodoro Rivadavia y Bahía Blanca haciendo shows en cabarets con Gina Vivanco.
En 1988 viajó a París, Francia, motivada por Gina Vivanco. Ese mismo año volvió a Argentina a seguir trabajando en su Almacén “La farándula”. Esta despensa y fiambrería funcionó entre los años 1987 hasta 1995, en el barrio porteño de Villa Urquiza.
En 2001 participó en la ICM (Iglesia de la comunidad metropolitana), donde organizaba fiestas, shows, etc., dirigida por el Padre Roberto González.
Trabajó como tesorera de la reestructuración de ATTTA (Asociación de travestis, transexuales y transgéneros de Argentina), entre 2002 y 2004.
Fue parte del Archivo de la Memoria Trans desde 2017 hasta 2022.
Carmen
Carmen was born on April 12, 1958, in Pompeya, City of Buenos Aires. At approximately two years of age, she moved with her family to Paraná, Santa Fe, due to her father's work in the aeronautical industry.
In 1978, at the age of 20, she moved to Rosario, Santa Fe, where she lived at the “Real” boarding house, located at 1294 Tucumán Street, until 1986. She later returned to Buenos Aires and lived with Gina Vivanco in Florencio Varela. Carmen considered Gina her “sister in life.”
In March 1982, she founded the Susana Giménez Fan Club in Rosario.
Between 1984 and 1986, she worked for four months at Galería Alaska in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, performing in shows. In 1986, she traveled to Río Grande, Río Gallegos, Comodoro Rivadavia, and Bahía Blanca, performing in cabarets together with Gina Vivanco.
In 1988, motivated by Gina Vivanco, she traveled to Paris, France. That same year, she returned to Argentina and continued working at her grocery and delicatessen shop, “La Farándula.” The establishment operated from 1987 to 1995 in the Villa Urquiza neighborhood of the City of Buenos Aires.
In 2001, she became involved with the Metropolitan Community Church (ICM), where she organized parties, shows, and other activities under the leadership of Father Roberto González.
Between 2002 and 2004, she served as treasurer during the restructuring of ATTTA (Association of Travestis, Transsexuals and Transgenders of Argentina).
Carmen was part of the Archivo de la Memoria Trans from 2017 to 2022.
